For a professional buyer, flour is more than just a product: it is a promise of consistency. Here are the steps by which GMM Matadi's mill keeps that promise.
1. Selecting the Grains
It all starts with the raw material. Wheat and maize grains are selected and inspected upon receipt, as pure flour cannot be produced from poor-quality grains.
2. Storage in Silos
The grains are stored in suitable silos, protected from moisture and contamination until they are processed.
3. Cleaning and Milling
Before milling, the grains are cleaned to remove impurities. Industrial milling then carefully preserves the fibres, vitamins, and minerals of the grain.
4. Quality Controls
Each batch is tested before leaving the factory. Controls focus on granularity, moisture content, and elasticity of the flour, ensuring your recipes achieve the same results with every delivery.
5. Hygiene
Products are manufactured under strict hygiene conditions to deliver clean flour free from harmful contaminants.
6. Multi-Layer Packaging
Flour is packed in bags with multi-layer protection against moisture. Available in 5 to 50 kg bags for wheat, and 12.5 and 25 kg bags for maize.
7. Traceability
Each batch is tracked from raw grain to final packaging. Should any issue arise, we can trace the product's journey.
